Splinterlands | Desert Dragon | I Won With Just One Monster In The Team

Splinterlands | Interesting Battle

The game we will be discussing shortly is one of the most hilarious yet exciting games I have played in a long time. Why? Because of the monster involved and the way the game finished. I won, of course, but I wasn’t expecting it. Why? Let me explain.

What Game is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a digital card game that allows you to collect, trade, battle, rent, and even earn from the cards. ***The game gives Play to Earn a whole different meaning.*** By now, you would know that the governance token (SPS) airdrop made millionaires out of the early adopters. It still keeps giving and remains a fun and engaging game.

Desert Dragon | Lone Warrior

This battle was interesting in many ways. That’s because:
1. This was the first time I was using Desert Dragon
2. I hadn’t seen the Trample ability in action in any of my monsters before
3. I had used a really high mana summoner for my battle and
4. I inadvertently paved the way for me to lose the battle

Face-to-Face With The Opponent | Ready for Battle!

And as I overlooked the battlefield, I got the impression that I was heavily outnumbered. 😊

The Battle Rages

As I said, the Dragon was the first to attack. Here is what happened.

GG | I Won!

At the beginning of round 2, my Dragon attacked again. It finished off the opponent’s tank.

And I Became A Fan of the Desert Dragon!

Honestly, I didn’t know the trample ability had such a killer outcome. Each round, I attacked twice with just one monster. It was fun to watch the action. Just when the opponent finally got an attack through, my Kitty healed the Dragon. It was hilarious. There was no way the opponent was winning.
