Introduction

Well, if the Splinterlands games are not already exciting enough, there is also more fun in the form of Splinterlands art. So, here I am unleashing my sketchy sketch of what I think could be a new card for the game. 😊

The Ghostly Titanoboa

Well, the idea was to bring to life one of the biggest snakes that we know historically — the Titanoboa. It was like the big bad brother of the modern-day Anaconda. While the Anaconda is lethal, the Titanoboa used to feed on dinosaurs. Yep, that’s right, the Titanoboa not only fed on dinosaurs but the ancestors of today’s crocodilian family.

Besides, it was 40 foot long. Archaeologists believe that it could have been way longer, but the available fossils as of now put the size at 40 feet.
Care to check it out? 😊

The idea was to create the Titanoboa holding a carnivorous dinosaur in its deathly wrap.

Here is page 1.

Page 2: The Dying Dinosaur Comes to Life

Here is where the dinosaur in the death grip comes to life. Of course, it is in the background, so looks tiny. But apologies, if it has a slight resemblance to the Rexxie. Heheh.

Page 3: Adding Some Color to the Stats

Since I haven’t come across much boa type of cards, I thought this could be one of the strongest and belonging to the magic community. Hence the health of 14, while an attack value of 5.

Now, that’s lethal!

Page 4: Some More Colours

Here, we see the card taking more colours. It is still a few iterations away from the final output.

Page 5: Coloured the Lot

Now, we got ahead and colour the entire page. It seems our Titanoboa is a happy go lucky killer.

It doesn’t look lethal, now, does it?

And here are some final touches making the Titanoboa a mean-looking creature. 😊

So, that’s the final output. I will come up with something new the next time.

Ciao!

But What is This Splinterlands Game?

Well, it is one of the earliest blockchain-based collectable games. Though I started playing the game quite late, on hindsight, I should have had got going early. Anyway, no need to despair, there is so many opportunities no matter when you start.

Splinterlands is a digital card game which allows you to collect, trade, battle, rent and even earn on the cards. It is one of the most generous games that I have seen where cards, potions, Dark Energy Crystals (DEC. Cryptocurrency) are given out every day to thousands of players for just playing and winning daily quests. And there are tournaments or guilds that you can join.

I hope that gives an overview of the game. I just love the game, and those interested can go to Splinterlands’ site and join. If you want a link to join, I will leave one at the end of the article which you can use.

Scroll down, quick. 😊
