What Did I Miss?

You know that feeling when you get ready for a party, put the best dress on and then take your most expensive car to the venue so that you can roar your arrival to the crowd and then…. you stand at the door and mull what happened. You got the right venue; you got the right car and dress, only there is no party. What happened?

You can relate to that feeling, I am sure. At least the good part is that no one was there to witness your embarrassment. Or was it a prank? You wonder.

Guess what? I had the same feeling when I was providing liquidity to the CUB-DEC pair.

You see, I am very good at deducing. So, if Dark Energy Crystal (DEC), the in-game currency of Splinterlands and CUB, the newest entry to the LEO family, intend to go on a date, I would presume the paparazzi would be around. A lot of them. That made me take out my camera too.

But guess what? There was no CUB-DEC date, and there were no paparazzi. It was only me with the camera to click nobody. What was going on? How could no one provide liquidity to the CUB-DEC pool? Isn’t it a no-brainer that two of the most happening cryptos around the Hive Ecosystem should be the best pool to.. well…. Pool? What did I miss?

If that was not strange enough, Cubdefi told me that I would be the first to provide liquidity and hence the first to decide the rate!! You heard that. ***I get to decide the rate.*** Cubdefi understood my significance, even if you didn’t. Or was it being sarcastic too? I wonder.

Either way, I was there for the party, so I might as well do what I came for. I danced alone — to no music, no crowd, and definitely no paparazzi. ☹ But I seemed to have done something the world has not done. I provided liquidity. Hehhehe.

Still Have No Clue About Certain Things

Now that I have provided the liquidity, I have the following questions:

1. Why nobody? Is it that there are no rewards around the CUB-DEC pool?
2. But even then, wouldn’t the SPS snapshot take your CUB-DEC liquidity data? Wouldn’t it make sense to make your CUB sitting there under staking made to work harder by providing liquidity? I thought it made sense. Don’t you?
3. And lastly, even after providing the liquidity, my SPS snapshot is not picking it up. Why? I don’t know. Do you?

So, what am I going to do? I am going to let the liquidity remain. After all, BSCscan told me that there are three addresses in total right now. That means I inspired two others to do the right thing. Hmm… I am a world leader!! 😊 😊
